We are a countercultural movement that exists to assist and support others on their life’s journey — creating safe spaces in a starving culture through voice, vision, and valor. We merge the authenticity of real-life conversations with the energy of art, food, music, and live experiences. We exist to bridge gaps — between generations, between faith and culture, between voices that need to be heard. At our core, we are faith-driven storytellers, sharing across mediums to spark connection, inspire change, and point people toward hope.
Our Story
Sidekicks & Stoolz was born from the belief that everyone has a story worth telling — and that storytelling has the power to heal, connect, and inspire. What started as a personal journey of faith and self-discovery grew into a movement that reminds us life isn’t a solo act. We need people beside us (the sidekicks) and spaces to sit, listen, and share (the stoolz).
The Story That Started It All
This is the heartbeat of who we are — and here’s how it began. Jermaine Abdual’s compelling memoir captures a journey from confusion and rejection to self-discovery and belonging, which became the springboard of a movement — weaving faith, storytelling, and cultural purpose into one narrative. This book laid the foundation for Sidekicks & Stoolz, offering readers hope and a call to find their rhythm in the race of life.

Founder's Note
Sidekicks & Stoolz was never just an idea — it was born out of my own search for identity and purpose. Along the way, I realized that sharing stories and creating safe spaces could do more than inspire — they could connect us, heal us, and remind us of who we really are. This movement is my invitation to you: pull up a stool, bring your story, and be part of a community where faith meets culture and identity is rediscovered.— Founder, Jermaine Abdual
